>From The Pastors Desk

Thank you for visiting our church website. Spend a little time with us on this site, get
to know a little about us, and if you have questions about our church, our
people, our work, and our beliefs that are not answered here, please contact me
or someone listed on this website. You
may call me or send me an e-note.
I have recently begun working with the church as the interim
pastor, and I consider it a privilege to serve as the church’s pastoral
leader. I lead the worship service and
give the sermon on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
We extend a warm welcome to come and worship God with us, and following
our service of about 1 hour we have a time for food and fellowship in the hall
downstairs. It is a good time to get to
know each other better and to catch up on family news.
Our church is a part of the United Church of Christ, which
is made up of thousands of congregations all over the USA. Each one is essentially independent and is
joined to the others by voluntary association.
If you wish, you can learn more about the United Church of Christ by
going to www.ucc.org. You can find some more information on the
Wisconsin Conference website at www.wcucc.org.
Our beliefs can be summarized by saying we believe in the
eternal God who through human beings gave us clear instructions on how to live
- individually and in community. We call
this instruction book the Bible, and people have sought to know these
instructions and to worship God for at least 3000 years. We experience God in three ways – as Father
and Creator, as the Son, our Savior and Lord, and as the Holy Spirit, God
ever-present with us to teach, to comfort and to guide. We have a booklet available that will help you
learn much more about God, our church, and our beliefs. Contact us and we will send you a copy, or
get one when you visit us on Sunday.
We wish for you and yours God’s blessings of peace, love and
joy.
Wayne Adcock, Interim Pastor
